This fall I will be traveling across the country for the Texas Pete Flavor of Football! We will be exploring the passion of college football from Georgia to Southern California, Florida to Michigan.

Check out my most recent visit to Athens, Georgia where UGA will be hosting Louisiana -Lafayette.

Making Me Proud

Kelin Johnson is a special to me. He spent time with me and listened so that he could learn about sports broadcasting. He’s still listening and learning and making his mark as an up and coming media voice providing insights into the 2010 Georgia Bulldogs and much, much more. Now look at what he is doing to give a good name to the University and fans that gave so much love and support to him.

My Passion Revealed

To many of you I may be a familiar face, having been welcomed into your homes for nearly 30 years as a  broadcast sports anchor, reporter and interview host.   From Birmingham to Phoenix to Atlanta, I have been on the air covering sports and the amazing athletes who give us all so much joy, excitement and motivation to help us grow in our own lives.

What you may not know is that  my true passion is mentoring and motivating the people around me, particularly the young athletes whom I’ve had the privilege of covering all these years. Today, I have chosen to offer my experience in broadcasting, media and sports to give back positively and passionately. My goal is to help those with dreams of making it big use their talent and skills to make a big difference in the lives of others. I am fortunate to have an association with an incredible team of media and marketing colleagues, and together we are introducing a much needed athlete media career development and placement program.  The Media Playbook™ Positive Performance Program is our way of giving back.

My mission in creating PositivePub.com is to encourage and support the good work that great athletes and coaches are doing and can do to affect positive changes in society.
